On a cold December weekend, I met Nora and Jalal’s family at the beautiful Edisto Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg for their first photo session as a family of four! Even though the gorgeous flowers that are the garden’s claim to fame were not blooming in the winter months, the wooded riverfront trails did not disappoint!
I have had the pleasure of being part of Nora and Jalal’s story from the very beginning, and it has been so fun to watch their family grow over the years! When Nora contacted me about a family photo session after their second boy was born, I could hardly wait to get them in front of my camera again. The chilly afternoon made for the sweetest, snuggliest photos… and even the frigid weather couldn’t put a damper on their older son’s energy and curiosity!
Nora and Jalal, not only did you rally in the chaos of getting two kids out the door (seriously, I’m going to need some tips!), but you were all SUCH troopers as we battled frigid temperatures and the threat of rain! I loved being able to capture these beautiful memories for you, and I’m already looking forward to our next session!
