As your newborn photographer, I’m here to document all those little details you never want to forget—the fuzzy hair, the peeling skin, the tiny fingers and toes—and capture just how small they are right now.

First
Planning for your session
It’s never too early to start planning for your newborn session, so let’s schedule a time to chat so we can get to know each other and I can walk you through my newborn session experience!
Once you’re ready to book, we’ll make things “officially official” and get your due date on my calendar!
Then, you’ll focus on getting everything ready for your baby, and I’ll keep in touch and help you prepare you so you’ll know exactly what to expect for your newborn session!
Second
your session day
Once you’ve let me know that your baby is here (and texted me a pic of their sweet face!), I’ll send you a scheduling link so we can get your in-home session on the calendar, usually in the first 2-3 weeks after their birth.
The day of your session, I’ll arrive at your home, and we’ll chat about your baby’s arrival while I get everything set up. Then, I’ll take it from there! Your only job will be to relax and soak in all the baby sweetness while I guide you and capture all the details you never want to forget!
Third
Preserve your memories
Get the tissues ready! Within 10 days of your session, your photos will be ready for you to preview! We’ll schedule your viewing and ordering appointment, and you’ll feel ALL THE FEELS as your photos take you back to those first weeks with your little one.
Then, we’ll choose your favorite images and design your custom heirloom products—from framed portraits to legacy albums, and within just a few weeks, those memories will be ready to display in your home for you to enjoy every day!

I include a complimentary maternity session with every newborn session, because it’s the perfect way to document the very beginning of your baby’s story.
Plus, it gives us a chance to get to know each other even better before your newborn session and helps you feel more comfortable in front of the camera!

FAQs
It’s never too early to reach out about your newborn session! I only take on a few sessions a month, and I typically book out my calendar several months in advance, so I definitely recommend reaching out early in your second trimester!
I usually recommend my clients have their maternity photos taken between 28 and 34 weeks pregnant. At that point, you’re rocking a beautiful, round bump, but aren’t at the point where you’re feeling extra tired and uncomfortable!
That being said, every pregnancy is different, and the right time may depend on how you’re feeling, whether or not you’re having any complications, or if you’re carrying multiples!
As a mom of two, I totally understand that due dates are really more of a guess! I’ll hold your due date on my calendar when you book, and then after your baby is born, we’ll schedule an official date for your session!
