Oh, those sweet newborn days. The roller coaster of emotions. The challenges and the joys. Watching a new baby change and grow right before your eyes. It is such a special and fleeting time in a family’s life, and it was such a joy to be able to capture some of those memories for Elizabeth and Adam with their sweet little girl!
It wasn’t hard to see just how loved this little girl already is and how smitten her sweet parents are with her (and with each other!). As we started our session, Elizabeth said to me, “I don’t often get to just sit and look at her like this—it’s really nice!” You could see the love and adoration in their eyes as they gazed at their sweet newborn and marveled at all her tiny features. I could not. stop. swooning. over the sweetness and their new parent glow. I must have said, “You guys are just the sweetest little family!” about 100 times!
As if this sweet family wasn’t precious wasn’t enough, all the details were absolutely perfect, from the most beautiful nursery full of family heirlooms to baby girl’s beautiful smocked dress and the sweetest little monogrammed bloomers!
Elizabeth was a little worried about how our session would go since we happened to schedule it right in the middle of a developmental leap. You never would have realized it, though! Their sweet girl did such an amazing job during the entire session and did not fuss at all! I even managed to catch a few little smiles… it was almost as if she knew she was making her big debut!
Elizabeth and Adam, I cannot thank you enough for welcoming me into your home and being such gracious hosts! I absolutely loved spending a Saturday morning with you all in your beautiful home! Even with everything else going on, you went out of your way to assist me in any way possible, and not only that, but you sent me on my way with a Jimmy John’s sub and a La Croix (two of my favorite things)!! You are such an incredible couple, and your precious girl is one lucky little lady to have such amazing parents!
