You might be imagining everything that *could* go wrong during your session, but a mom, former teacher, & experienced family photographer, I’ve literally seen it all. There’s literally nothing your kiddos can do that will surprise me or throw me off my game!

You’ll show up to your session looking fabulous and feeling ready to enjoy your family (thanks to the pre-session planning we’ll do together!), and I’ll take care of the rest!

And then if it’s “one of those days” and it all falls apart—you’ll trust that I’ll be there to guide you through it and capture the joy in the chaos.

A slow and relaxed session. Newborn sessions are baby-led, which means that I come with a whole game plan for your session, but everything is at your baby’s pace.

Resources and regular communication in the months leading up to your baby’s arrival, so you know exactly what to expect before, during, and after your session.

Congratulations on this exciting season of life! It’s never too early to start planning for your newborn session, so let’s schedule a time to chat so we can get to know each other and make sure we’re a good fit!

Once you’re ready to book, we’ll make things “officially official” and get your due date on my calendar! Then, you’ll focus on getting everything ready for your baby, and I’ll keep in touch and help you prepare you so you’ll know exactly what to expect for your newborn session!

Once you’ve let me know that your baby is here (and texted me a pic of their sweet little face, of course!), I’ll send you a scheduling link so we can get your session on the calendar, usually in the first 2-3 weeks after their birth.

The day of your session, I’ll arrive at your home, and we’ll chat about your birth story while I get everything set up. Then, I’ll take it from there! Your only job will be to relax and soak in all the baby sweetness while I guide you and capture all the details you never want to forget!

Then, it’s time to get your photos off the screen and into your hands! When should I book my newborn session?

It’s never too early to reach out about your newborn session! I definitely recommend reaching out early in your second trimester.

When should I have maternity photos taken?

I usually recommend my clients have their maternity photos taken between 28 and 34 weeks pregnant. At that point, you’re rocking a beautiful, round bump, but aren’t at the point where you’re feeling extra tired and uncomfortable!

How do I schedule my newborn session when I'm not exactly sure when my baby will be born?
